The United States and the Future of Europe: Views from the Capitals

This book collects 41 national views from EU Member States and neighbouring countries regarding their respective relationship with the United States. It gives evidence of the importance and diversity of transatlantic relations, assesses the potentially disruptive impact of a second Trump presidency and offers policy recommendations.

Am Mittwoch, 24. April 2024, fand im ORF Oberösterreich-Landesstudio in Linz der „Europa Club Oberösterreich: Die Jugenddiskussion zur EU-Wahl“ statt. Zu Gast in der Diskussion waren oberösterreichische Vertreter*innen und Kandidat*innen der Parteien, im Publikum saßen über 120 Schüler*innen, die in der zweiten Hälfte der Diskussionsveranstaltung die Möglichkeit hatten, sich mit Fragen und Anmerkungen einzubringen.

RADAR – Raising Awareness on Disinformation: Achieving Resilience – Final Results

Over the last 18 months, the „Raising Awareness on Disinformation: Achieving Resilience (RADAR)“ project has been harnessing citizens’ thoughts on disinformation, providing expert insights into protection against disinformation, and fomenting interaction and consultation between both. We especially wanted to focus on building up citizens‘ agency through training and empowerment, with a focus on encouraging young Europeans to contribute and boost their engagement with and understanding of critical thinking and media literacy. In the lead-up to the 2024 European elections, nothing can be more important that countering the noxious effects of disinformation.

Enlargement and the Future of Europe: Views from the Capitals

This book analyses Member States’ and EU neighbours’ national visions for the enlargement of the European Union (EU), highlighting 41 national histories, policies, and corresponding public perceptions of European integration and discusses how Russia’s aggression in Ukraine has reignited interest in EU enlargement, with differing national views on when and how eastern neighbors and the Western Balkans should be admitted to the EU. The book contains policy recommendations for national governments and the EU on how to implement enlargement effectively.
